Positive reviews of Travelsim

I have not been able to travel much this year, but somehow I had my flight to Cyprus and spent 3 weeks there. I bought esim and installed it on my Samsung 20 phone. It was very simple and fast. It worked absolutely everywhere on the island and even in the Troodos mountains and on Mount Olympos.

Felis on Trustpilot from Spain

I got this sim a year ago for my trip to Russia. At first I didn’t know how to use it, as I am a basket case when it comes to technology. I contacted the customer service and the girl explained everything to me (very kind and patient). The calls worked perfectly, I was able to contact my family and use the SIM card to get around Moscow. A bit of luck for Travelsim.

Negative reviews of Travelsim

I have just returned from a month in Spain and the travel SIM was useless, I could only make one call to a couple of contacts, no local calls, no text messages and no internet. So don’t bother with this so called service. Several times someone from Travel SIM said they would call me back to help but they never did, terrible customer service. A complete waste of money. I travelled with a friend who also used Travel SIM and hers worked half the time.

Linda Drew on Trustpilot

Do not use. Travelling in the US, app doesn’t work, website doesn’t update. Incoming and outgoing calls don’t work. I travelled a lot and thought about trying the TravelSim AP, but never again. Just buy a sim at Walmart or wherever. Travelsim is completely useless.

Travelsim product line and services

TravelSim offers virtual cards or eSIM cards to connect to the Internet abroad. Similarly, this company has traditional physical SIM cards with a limited amount of data and calls. Unlike Truphone or GigSky, TravelSim is not focused on the internet of things.

TravelSim eSIM

TravelSim’s eSIM is the embedded version of the traditional data SIM card with which you connect abroad, it is directly integrated into the device, usually in the most recent ones, Google and Apple have been pioneers along with Samsung and other brands. The eSIM technology will allow you to get rid of physical waste and increase efficiency in shipments, it is expected that by 2022 the vast majority of mobiles will be manufactured under this new concept.

This company offers a wide variety of rates and destinations, in some cases with unlimited data plans, for example in the United States, Japan, Mexico and Canada. Travelsim eSIM Card Installation Guide

Follow the instructions for installing and activating a Travelsim eSIM profile for IOS and later android operating systems, the processes for both iPhone and iPad are similar due to the organisation of the interfaces.

On the other hand, it is important to keep in mind that once an eSIM profile has been installed it should not be removed, this means that the profile is completely set up and it is no longer possible to install it again, you can transfer it to another device but do not remove it and install it again.
