Details and prices of Portable WiFi for China

There are several options you can have when traveling to China to stay connected. This is a country that receives so many people every year, so Pocket Wi-Fi is something quite common to see.

That’s why we need to talk in-depth about the details and prices of each of the companies offering their Pocket Wi-Fi service for China. Let’s see what we can expect from each of the options mentioned.

BeFreeTour

BeFreeTour is a company that is located in Indonesia but offers the possibility of renting Pocket Wi-Fi to people in various tourist destinations.

One thing we should mention is the price, which is very affordable. For people who will be traveling to China for a week and want portable Wi-Fi, they will have to pay 31.15 dollars, which is a good price.

The shipping and collection issue is a bit trickier. The company only offers pick-up at an airport in China, so keep this in mind before you travel.

On the payment side, people can pay by credit card and PayPal through the company’s website.

The last thing to mention is the penalty for losing equipment. The company does penalize those who lose their equipment, but the exact amount is unknown, so it’s best to be careful before you have an accident.

Roamingman

Direct from Malaysia, Roamingman is an excellent alternative for travelers wishing to visit much of Asia.

The company’s prices are hard to beat as its service is quite economical. For a week’s use, individuals will have to pay just over 25 dollars. This is quite low and few companies can offer something similar, although the service is limited, which may not work for all users.

As for the delivery of the devices, people can pick up the devices at various airports in China, or they can request a delivery once they are in the country.

The payment issue is quite simple. The company currently only accepts one method of payment, which is by credit card, either Visa or Mastercard.

Finally, we should mention that the company penalizes people in two ways, for late delivery and for loss of equipment. The first will be calculated once the equipment is returned, while the second penalty has a fixed cost of 86 dollars for losing one of their equipment.

Rent n’ Connect

Although Rent n’ Connect specializes in its services mainly in Europe, China is also on the list of countries where you can count on its service.

The company changes the prices of Pocket Wi-Fi in China a bit compared to other destinations, but it is not a big change. For a week’s use, people will have to pay a little more than 78 dollars, which is still affordable.

One good thing about the Rent n’ Connect is that you can receive the equipment days in advance, which will be useful in case you want to arrive in China with everything ready. As for shipping, the price ranges from $4.55 to $11.38 USD depending on the destination.

On the subject of payment, the company offers several payment methods that people can take advantage of. The options that Rent n’ Connect offers are credit cards, PayPal, Stripe, among others.

In terms of penalties, the company does penalize those who lose their equipment, however, the price is not fully stipulated on their website. This could mean that the price could be between $147,94 and $216,22 dollars.

Travel WiFi

Travel WiFi is one of the telecommunications giants within Europe. People can count on them to stay connected basically all over the world.

For those who want Pocket Wi-Fi in China, Travel Wi-Fi is an excellent option to consider. Their prices don’t change much and for a week’s use, the company has a rate of $55.65 USD.

The shipping issue is fairly easy to solve. The company ships practically all over the world, although clearly, the rates vary a little depending on the destination, with prices ranging from 8 to 30 dollars.

In terms of payment, the company has several methods that users can take advantage of, such as credit cards and PayPal.

Finally, the company sanctions for lost equipment. In case of losing a Travel Wi-Fi Pocket Wi-Fi, you will have to pay between 149 and 199 dollars to the company.

MioWiFi

The surprise of the list comes straight from Latin America and goes by the name of MioWiFi, a company that has managed to position itself among the best in this field.

The company offers its Pocket WiFi for a price that does not change much regardless of the destination. Whatever the destination, the price is $56 and the service is completely unlimited, so there will be no usage problems.

The downside of the company comes in when we talk about their shipments, since most of them, regardless of the destination, is usually $50 dollars. Although, this changes depending on the distance.

Something that is also important to mention about the company is that it accepts payments through credit cards and PayPal, which makes it quite affordable.

The most important thing to mention is the company’s loss penalty fee. If you lose a Pocket WiFi in China you will have to pay an additional $250.

Similar options to Pocket WiFi for China

While it is true that you have several options to have portable Wi-Fi in China, it would be great if you have a few more options with you. And you can get more options that can be even better in the market.

In total, we can mention three additional options. Data SIM card, data eSIM, and free Wi-Fi. Any of them can be a good option, although the first two are the best.

Data SIM card for travel

If someone tells you they haven’t used a data SIM card, they’re probably lying. Most users have at least used one of these cards once.

Now, for travelers, they have become a very attractive option and can be a solution to the high prices of portable Wi-Fi. They are also effortless to buy.

If you want to get one, we recommend you visit the Holafly website, a company that offers this type of card for a very affordable price and with a good number of benefits.

Data eSIM for China

Another option that is quite similar to the data SIM card is the eSIM. This card works completely digitally, so we don’t have to insert anything into our phones.

The eSIM for China basically has the same function as traditional cards, although we don’t need a physical product, everything is done through our phone.

Best of all, these cards are easy to buy, have a variety of prices depending on the destination, and there are many more benefits. We recommend using Holafly in this case because their eSIM data cards are pretty good.

Free WiFi

The last option on our list is free Wi-Fi, which can be present in almost every place we visit. However, a free connection is not always a good thing.

Free Wi-Fi can be an extremely useful thing for fast use, but not for a long-term connection. So, it is advisable to have a second option at hand so that you never lose connectivity while you are traveling.
